With their second EP on Man Recordings, Munich´s super hybrid partymeisters Schlachthofbronx return with four huge tracks that represent next level bass music.

Leading track “Carimbo” puts the sound of Northern Brasil on the New Orleans bootie map with an irresistible melody and bounce riddims. “Steel Kazoo” is an uptempo smasher that revisists the Trinidad drum legacy in 21st century fashion. “Coolie Fruit” feat. Gnucci Banana is another Bounce influenced track jumps in your face. And last but not least “Yuh Mumma”, which gives the vibe of the Mexican gulf city another serious European re-examination.

August usually is the month of a no-release policy by most labels, but Mixpak from New York do it differently and now bang out some of the fastest paced tracks by our Munich homeboys Schlachthhofbronx.

On their new EP for Mixpak, Schlachthofbronx turn up both the fun and the tempo with some 165+ BPM power soca insanity. The Mudders EP features ace remixes from Toddla T as well as Canblaster and Myd and is sure to send any tropical minded dancefloor into overdrive. Standout track “Wave and Wine” is at once driving and melodic; modern and timeless. This is peak time music for 21st century raves.

What we have released on Man Recordings so far since 2005 has become a sizeable catalogue. Some of the tracks from our 250 plus strong set have faded it memory or have not yet been discovered but are still piping hot, e.g. Crookers “Para De Graçinha” is a track which is still playable today after all these years, the same for Seiji´s “Todo Mundo”, or the just recently released remix of “Kid Conga” by Dubble Dutch – just to name a few.With tracks by the who´s of who of baile funk but also its big name European and American adaptors, we figured it´s about time we ask our favourite DJs to pick their favourite tracks from the Man Recordings back catalogue.
