HEAT IN BERLIN TOMORROW!

HEAT

Berlin’s Carnival of Culture is right around the corner and we teamed up with our good friends from TropicalBass.com for some heavy partying this Saturday night: HEAT will bring you a bouncing line-up of some of the finest name in the current global Tropical Bass scene.

Surprisingly for many, Germany’s capital has indeed a carnival modeled after Caribbean equivalents or for example Notting Hill. The event might be quite different, but without a doubt it manages to show the cultural diversity of the city with a whole lot of parties, events and the big street parade on Sunday. Perfect occasion to throw a party dedicated to local music going global all around the world.

The Man Recordings floor will be headlined by the mighty Toddla T, UK’s expert for everything Bashment and Bass. So Shifty, remix dons from Hamburg, and Man Recordings boss Daniel Haaksman (accompanied by MC Bani Silva) will put the icing on the cake. On the Tropicalbass.com floor Brussels tropicalisto number one Max Le Daron, our own Marflix and DJ Silent Pressure will delight you with some heavy-hitting Basslines from Moombahton to Soca.

HEAT hosted by Man Recordings & Tropicalbass.com – Saturday May 26th 2012 – Club Gretchen – Obentrautstr. 19-21 – 10963 Berlin-Kreuzberg, Germany, Doors 23:00

Man 058 Daniel Haaksman "Rap Da Silva" feat. Bani Silva out now!

Man 058 RDS

With „Rap Da Silva“ Daniel Haaksman releases the first single from his „Rambazamba“ debut-album, which will be released May 16th, 2011.

„Rap Da Silva“ is a classic baile funk tune, originally sung by Bob Rum. In the Daniel Haaksman version sung by Brasilian MC Bani Silva, the Brasilian anthem gets its 2011 update. With a funky offbeat, a 1980s synth line and the great, deep voice of Bani Silva, the classic receives an amazing new treatment.

The single comes with a banging remix from French beatmaitre BIG DOPE P from super ghetto label Moveltraxx. Another remix is provided by Paris and Berlin based analog wizards ACID WASHED from Record Makers, who shaped „Rap Da Silva“ into a deep Italo Disco shape. The bonus track is “The Bass That Ate My Mami” – Haaksman´s ode to the low-end sound legacy of Miami Bass.
