London's Stereo MCs, undoubtedly Britains most succesful rap group of all time, are dedicated fans of MC Gringo's music and rhymes. When they found out that Gringo was looking for remixes of his album „Gringão“, Rob Birch and Nick Hallam promptly produced two stunning remixes of their favourite track „1 Real“.

Stripping the track from its Salsa-Berimbau flavour, their „1 Real“ remix presents the Stereo MCs in their finest fashion. Adding hip shaking percussions and dubby chords they fabricated a dancefloor smashing groove monster which puts the baile funk lyrics of MC Gringo and MC Binho into a full funky context.
The Stereo Mc's Hypadub remix of „1 Real“ rolls out Brazilian percussions to the max. Think of Pressure Drop's timeless „Unify“ and you get almost to the point of manic frenzy that the „1 Real“ Hypadub reverberates.
