With „Gatas Gatas Gatas“ baile funk don EDU K returns with a huge splash. The four track EP features remixes by Crookers, Scottie B, and Chernobyl.
For this single we had to go temporarily commercial: „Gatas Gatas Gatas“ comes as an accompanying release to the campaign for the new Sony Ericsson mobile phone, which features Edu K's love declaration to all the girls in the world. Together with his baby brother and Co MC Chilli he declares „I love them all, brown or tall, big or small“. What better lyrics can a song carry?
The music video to the release was directed by director Bryan Barber (the director of Outkast's „Hey ya“ video) Think of Falco's „Rock Me Amadeus“ in a 21st century baile funk rewind.
The EP release „Gatas Gatas Gatas“ („Cats, Cats, Cats“) comes with three banging remixes. Italy's hot ticket Crookers, who recently remixed Armand Van Helden, Chemical Brothers and Bonde Do Role, twisted Edu K's song into a ravey, booty house bomb which will burn the big dancefloors. The Scottie B remix puts the club horns to the front, and created a classic Baltimore Club version. This could be called the first Baltimore-Baile Funk Clash ever. Last but not least, there's the DJ Chernobyl baile funk remix.
Three remixes, the original track – this EP, backed by an incredible video will surely push „Gatas Gatas Gatas“ as one of the major club hits of this autumn.
